What practitioners pay
Every booking shows the same four lines, and they always add up to your total. No surprises at checkout.
- Space rate
- Set by the host (hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Cleaning fee
- Only if the host charges one
- HST (13%)
- Applied to the rate and cleaning fee
- Service fee (Stripe processing)
- 2.9% + $0.30, the card-processing cost
Your card is authorized when you request a booking and only charged once the host accepts. A decline or no response means nothing is charged.
What hosts earn
List for free. You only pay when you earn.
12% platform fee
Taken from your payout on completed bookings, never billed separately. Starhost hosts pay 10% (see below).
HST stays yours to remit
RoomaMD collects HST at checkout and passes your portion to you with your payout. You file and remit it on your own return.
Paid about 2 business days after each booking
Funds release after a short hold once the session ends. An open dispute pauses the payout until it is resolved.

Starhost is a promotional perk that RoomaMD offers and may change, pause, or withdraw at any time. It is earned on an ongoing basis and is not a guaranteed or permanent entitlement.
