We're building the marketplace for clinical space: somewhere a practitioner can book a room by the hour, day, week, or month, and a clinic with an empty room can turn it into income without the headache.
We're an early-stage company based in Toronto, starting in Ontario with the goal of growing across Canada. We'd rather earn trust by doing the unglamorous things well (compliance, clear money, and honest credentials) than by making promises we can't keep.
The problem we're solving
Sharing clinical space should be straightforward. Three things usually get in the way.
Empty rooms
Clinical space is expensive and often underused. A room that sits idle three afternoons a week is lost income for the host and lost access for everyone else.
No flexible options
New grads, part-time practitioners, and those building a practice rarely need, or can afford, a full lease. They need professional space when they need it, without a long-term commitment.
Trust is hard to do ad hoc
Sharing clinical space means insurance, credentials, agreements, and payments all have to line up. Handled informally, that becomes friction and risk for both sides.

How we think about it
Compliance is the product
We treat insurance, credentials, and clear agreements as core features, not paperwork bolted on at the end. Every booking carries a timestamped agreement, and hosts review the credentials they require before they accept.
Honest about trust
RoomaMD is a marketplace, not a regulator. We don't claim to verify licenses ourselves. We surface each practitioner's College registration with a one-click link to the public register, the authoritative source, and let hosts decide what they require.
Money you can see
Every charge is itemized (space rate, cleaning, HST, and the processing fee), and the rows always add up to the total. No hidden cuts, on either side.
